IDF's current syllabuses for exams cover the following dance styles:
- Modern Dancing
- Tap
- Lyrical
- Disco Jazz
- Hip Hop
- Acrobatics
These exams are done through different stages in a students dance career, in order of the following levels:
- Tiny Babies (3 yr olds)
- Tiny Tots (4 & 5 yr olds)
- Pre-Primary
- Junior & Senior Students
- Teacher Qualification
Exams are normally held in the months of June and July.
With this training, dancers can do dancing work locally or even internationally and some become teachers building their successfull dance schools.
